Christ’s Arrival: A Journey Toward Christian Healing
You are invited to take time from the hustle and bustle of the busy Christmas season to be still, reflect, and to experience a transformative Advent series. We will journey through the four weeks of Advent with a focus on healing (spiritually, emotionally, psychologically, and relationally) through the light of Christ. Each week will guide us deeper into the heart of Christian healing through prayer, meditation, community, and experiential spiritual practices through the SIIMDA Soul Care healing approach. Let’s journey together in the peace and wholeness that only Christ can bring.
WHAT:
Week 1 (Nov 30, 2024): Hope in Healing We begin by embracing the hope found in Christ’s coming. In a world full of brokenness, we’ll explore how God provides for healing our deepest wounds and restoring our hope.
Week 2 (Dec 7, 2024): Peace in the Process The healing journey can be unsettling. This week, we will focus on finding peace in God’s presence. The process of learning to trust “God with us.”
Week 3 (Dec 14, 2024): Joy in Restoration True healing brings joy in the face of what was lost or broken. This week, we will celebrate the joy of being made whole again in Christ and look at how to live in the fullness of God’s healing power.
Week 4 (Dec 21, 2024): Love Made Whole As we prepare for the coming of Christ, we will reflect on the ultimate expression of God’s love—God’s healing presence among us. Through God’s love, we are made whole, ready to embrace the life and love that God offers us all.
This Advent, let us prepare not only to celebrate Christ’s birth but to experience His healing touch in every area of our lives. All are welcome to journey with us toward the true healing found in Jesus Christ.

[The church sits on the corner of Delaware and Fourth. Come to the door at the back of the church off of Fourth and take the stairs up to the Guild Room.]
WHEN:
We will be gathering on Saturday mornings of the four weeks of the Advent Season: 11/30, 12/7, 12/14, 12/21 from 9am to 12pm.
TIME:
9am to 12pm

Free (however, a free will donation to SIIMDA Soul Care is welcomed)

You can register for the entire four weeks or for any single week session during this series. However, priority is given to those who plan to attend all four sessions.
